The Leo Club would like to thank all who contributed to the charitable fundraiser for Rett Syndrome Research. The “Garden of Hope” and Dress Up 2 Cure were a huge success. We raised over $800 to help find a cure and treatments for Rett Syndrome and other neurological disorders. Thank you for supporting this wonderful cause. Your generosity is amazing.
Students from Baptist Bible put on a program called "Making Books Come Alive." Students acted out the book Tacky the Penguin for Mrs. Orner's first graders, then invited the students to help them act out.
In observance of Earth Day, my third grade class learned about how ducks and animals are effected by water pollution. We read books, focusing on water pollution and animals. The students wrote essays based on what they could do to help eliminate water pollution. I brought in some baby ducklings to align with the lesson. The students had a great time, and learned so much from the lesson....................Miss Kogut
