Breanna Post, Third Grade student enters National Art Exhibit in Washington D.C. May 17, 2012
WHEREAS, Breanna Post, Third grade student has excelled in art class in her elementary career, and
WHEREAS, Breanna has had artwork accepted into a National Exhibit scheduled for August 2012, and
WHEREAS, Breanna Post’s artwork has been selected from over 3,000 submissions nationwide to represent the state of Pennsylvania in the VSA and CVS Caremark All Kids Can CREATE exhibition, and
WHEREAS, the project was completed as an additional “out of class” project, and Breanna completed this artwork on her own time with some guidance from Ms. Sarrah Dibble, art teacher, and her family, and
WHEREAS, the artwork was submitted by Art Teacher, Sarrah Dibble to Artsonia.com to participate in the “All Kids Can Create” contest, and this inclusive exhibition will feature the work of two artists per state and will debut at the Martin Luther King Jr. Memorial Library in Washington D.C. for the month of August 2012, and
WHEREAS, The Board of School directors has been very supportive of the art program at Blue Ridge Elementary and eager to recognize outstanding achievement in this or any area of educational endeavor.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the official congratulations of the board be extended to Breanna Post for her achievement.
