Blue Ridge
Elementary students and their families laced up their dancing shoes as a way to
celebrate the end of Pennsylvania’s
System of School Assessment (PSSA) testing.
Friday, April 19, the young and not so young gathered at the school for
a “Family Dance Night.” The evening
capped off a week of intense test taking.
The event
was filled with line dancing favorites from “The Chicken Dance” to “The Cupid
Shuffle.” Families rotated through
various dance stations learning all kinds of moves including Zumba. The evening provided a fun way to get a great
workout.
The free
program was made possible through the work of the Blue Ridge PTO, Blue Ridge
Teachers and Staff and volunteers from the Blue Ridge National Honor
Society. For more information about the
work of the Blue Ridge PTO, check us out on facebook.
