Wednesday nights have been busy this month at Blue Ridge Elementary School with Title 1 presenting Family Math and Reading Nights. Grades PreK-5 have been invited to spend an hour with Title 1 teachers, Mrs. Brandy Gaylord, Mrs. Peg Glezen, Mrs. Kathy Roe, Mrs. Sarah Templeton and principal Mr. Matthew Button playing math and reading enrichment games. The evening consists of grade-level activities which families are shown how to play, engage in that activity and then are able to take home all the materials. This year, grades 3-5 family night focused on technology that is available for students to use at school and at home.
