6th Grade History Classes Celebrate Chinese New Year

The curriculum asks the students to learn the following information: the origin of China, all of the dynasties that existed in China’s history, the food, forms of communication (calligraphy, puppetry, and language), life of families and students.

A great opportunity come our way for our students to participate in a Video Conference (VC) about China.

This VC will allow the students to be immersed in active learning, without having to leave the school. They created a Chinese puppet with diving deeper into China’s life and culture. This activity allowed us to also utilize the videoconferencing system that we received with the NEPA WAN investment last year through the IU.
