May is "Get Caught Reading Month", which is nationwide campaign to remind people of all ages how much fun it is to read!

All you have to do to participate is to snap a picture of your child "getting caught" reading and send them in. Be as creative as you would like with reading spots.  Some kids last year were caught reading in a tree or with a sibling.  The pictures will be shared in a slideshow during library class. Also, some of these pictures will be shared on Mr. Button’s blog and used to promote the Summer Reading Program.

Please send pictures to Mrs. Tench at tenchj@brsd.org as an attachment, with your child’s name as the picture name.

Let’s see where we can “Get Caught Reading” during the month of May!
